My name is H.J. Ruiz. I live in Hiram, Georgia, I currently run another blog "My Backyard Visitors" "http://avian101.wordpress.com" as the title suggests it is all about birds in my backyard. From being a ssimple project based on curiosity, it has grown to be successful and quite educative.

Now, using the same enthusiasm and dedication I'm creating this blog "My Winged Pals" in order to expand and cover a larger territory and blog about birds from other places in the world. I want to eport about anything that may of interest to people who love birds, just like myself.

Along with my articles and notes I will publish my original photographic work, which is an important factor in my life.

My hope is to get a nice group of followers so we could discuss about our pals, the birds. I promise to make this blog as interesting and entertaining as possible,
